This Friday, I'm going to be participating in A Sacred Fools Holiday At Home with some lovely talented people. It's a late-night thing, at 11pm after the (Ovation-recommended, L.A. Weekly "GO!," Backstage "Critic's Pick" smash hit Watson).
From the website: "Join us one night only for an intimate show celebrating friendship and the holidays. There will be singing, dancing, live accompaniment, a beer wench and food to eat." I'll be in a dance choreographed by the lovely Natasha Norman. Come wassail with us!

We made it another week! So far, we're the only Serial that's lasted for the entire season. It was intense, too. If they post the 5-minute chase scene on youtube, I'll go back and post it here. Unfortunately, the hoop skirt apparently belonged to Theatre of NOTE so it's gone with Don Today, Don Tomorrow. In other news, I have adopted a kitten. She is adorable and sweet and hyper and her name (I have finally decided) is Clementine. Here's a grainy cell phone photo of her sleeping! See?? So, there it is. Serial Killers is back with the Watson cycle (go see it. Go see it NOW!), Weaver's still going strong, and my darlin' Clementine is my new roommate.
And WHAT a theaterful weekend it's shaping up to be; seeing Skeleton Stories at Theatre of NOTE, dropping by Improv Olympic for a couple shows, and attending a reading of Puzzler, a new play premiering at Sacred Fools this season.
Next weekend Watson premieres and Serial Killers returns, with "The Weaver" still in the running; episode 5 on Saturday, Nov. 6! I just uploaded a bunch of production photos from the past season and a half of sketch comedy/drama/horror/etc. Enjoy! |
