On Saturday night we had a party to launch Sacred Fools Theatre's 18th (18th!) season, and to wrap up our summer fundraising party. We had a goal of $36,000 to fund the upcoming season, and thanks to friends and patrons all over the country, we did it (and then some). Here's to another 18!
Been very busy, mostly because of this, so come see it!
In other news, was in half the Sweet 16 in the Serial Killers playoffs (first round), they come back June 28!

Since I'm SO GOOD at constantly updating this blog about things, I started another one. Bridgett Sitting On Ed While He Is Asleep Dot Blogspot Dot Com. Because what does the internet need? MORE CATS
I went to North Carolina for Christmas to see family and eat Bojangle's. I spent New Year's Eve with friends. I'm reading a balls-ton of plays and attaching myself to a couple productions' proposals for shows next season at Sacred Fools Theater. Exciting stuff!
WHERE TO SEE ME DO ACTING STUFF NEXT:
This Saturday, I will be doing a reading of Occupation at Sacred Fools Theater (north), at 7p.
In a couple weeks, I'll be in a movie! Will post more about that later.
Saturday night, January 25, I'll be doing more Serial Killers in Mr. Mimblegast.
Last month I was in a reading of "Suffragettes," a new play being workshopped by Terry Tocantins and Alex Zola. I signed on as a dramaturg for developing musical "Everybody's Got the Plague" by Zachary Bernstein. I shot some more stuff for an upcoming music video. I ate my weight in fried chicken, which I can't recommend highly enough (I am n
After a whirlwind month of Poe Show-ing it up, tomorrow night is our last show. I've gotten to play Tom Sawyer, Amy March, The Red Death, and a member of the Donner party, to name a few; and tomorrow night I will bust out a few more SPOOOKY surprises! Spooky. It's October, and It's Edgar Allen Poe, and...spooky.
SPEAKING OF SPOOKY, my Serial Killers piece "Glen" goes up this Saturday night! Also, I'll be in two pieces; the whimsical "Mr. Mimblegast," returning for episode 3, and the delightfully disastrous "Drunken Playwrights."
Are you as excited as I am about the upcoming season at Sacred Fools Theater?? On Sunday I was in a reading of Jonas Oppenheim's new original sex farce set in outer space, "The Mother Ship." Tonight I'm participating in the "Live: From the Last Night of My Life" reading, which is a dark dark comedy from Wayne Rawley, directed by J.J. Mayes.
We're kicking off the season this Saturday with our annual Season Launch Party, which will close out our summer fundraising campaign. Swing on by, eh?
Week one of the Serial Killers Playoffs was brutal; eight 5-minute pieces entered, half of them were eliminated. Luckily Everybody's Got the Plague lived to see another day, we'll revisit it in two weeks and hope we make the cut. This coming Saturday, though, we get to reprise Big Men, Little Women (Not a Porno). If you were there last week, you saw a big announcement about the finals and next season...
In other news: Zach has been furiously rewriting and reworking his full-length version of Everybody's Got the Plague, and we're doing a reading tomorrow night.
Keep on coming back to Serial Killers, Saturday nights this July at 11pm at Sacred Fools Theater! This Saturday: More Big Men Little Women (Not a Porno)!
