Since I'm SO GOOD at constantly updating this blog about things, I started another one. Bridgett Sitting On Ed While He Is Asleep Dot Blogspot Dot Com
. Because what does the internet need? MORE CATSI went to North Carolina for Christmas to see family and eat Bojangle's. I spent New Year's Eve with friends. I'm reading a balls-ton of plays and attaching myself to a couple productions' proposals for shows next season at Sacred Fools Theater.
Exciting stuff!WHERE TO SEE ME DO ACTING STUFF NEXT: This Saturday, I will be doing a reading of Occupation at Sacred Fools Theater (north), at 7p. In a couple weeks, I'll be in a movie! Will post more about that later.Saturday night, January 25, I'll be doing more Serial Killers in Mr. Mimblegast. Last month I was in a reading of "Suffragettes," a new play being workshopped by Terry Tocantins and Alex Zola. I signed on as a dramaturg for developing musical "Everybody's Got the Plague" by Zachary Bernstein. I shot some more stuff for an upcoming music video.
I ate my weight in fried chicken, which I can't recommend highly enough (I am n
After a whirlwind month of Poe Show
-ing it up, tomorrow night is our last show. I've gotten to play Tom Sawyer, Amy March, The Red Death, and a member of the Donner party, to name a few; and tomorrow night I will bust out a few more SPOOOKY surprises! Spooky. It's October, and It's Edgar Allen Poe, and...spooky.SPEAKING OF SPOOKY, my Serial Killers piece "Glen" goes up this Saturday night!
Also, I'll be in two pieces; the whimsical "Mr. Mimblegast," returning for episode 3, and the delightfully disastrous "Drunken Playwrights."
OMG MEN R SO DUMB LIEK THEY THINK DUCK TAPE IS FOR BABBY
THEIR SO DUMB LOL OMG OMG
Here is a post from Lesly Kahn
's acting blog about a common mistake Type-A actors make, featuring this Type-A actor. Enjoy!
Are you as excited as I am about the upcoming season at Sacred Fools Theater
?? On Sunday I was in a reading of Jonas Oppenheim's new original sex farce set in outer space, "The Mother Ship." Tonight I'm participating in the "Live: From the Last Night of My Life" reading, which is a dark dark comedy from Wayne Rawley
, directed by J.J. Mayes
. We're kicking off the season this Saturday with our annual Season Launch Party, which will close out our summer fundraising campaign. Swing on by, eh?

Jumping into another weekend of Neverwhere
, and another five-show weekend. Hurrah! Neverwhere's been selling well, building momentum, and causing bruises (the multi-leveled, beautiful set requires some fenangling backstage). We even had a special visitor
a couple weeks ago. No big deal.
with Natasha Norman, Paula Rhodes, Pat Towne, Alyssa Preston, and Heather Schmidt. Photo by Marian Gonzalez.
In Serial Killers
, we're going into week 3 of Big Men, Little Women (not a porno) where I play Amy, who is a stretch for me...
I've also gotten back into ongoing class at Lesly Kahn & Co.
, which feels good. Like joining (and actually going to) the gym. Let's address those problem areas, ladies!
AND, this past Sunday I shot something for Hollywood is Hard for Kimmy Kim and Frutron
. We all had a blast, and made a mess, and spent the Lord's Day throwing around confetti and making dick jokes, like you do. Will post when it's out!
Headed to the theater to kick off the first Neverwhere
of the weekend, will also be performing in Serial Killers
on Saturday night, in a delightful comedy called Big Men, Little Women (not a porno).
This will be the second time that I have played Amy in a version of Little Women. Last time I played her a possum died under the stage and we tried to make it smell better with oranges. (sidenote: roles that every short person who is in plays and is a girl plays at some point: Gracie Shinn, Hermia, Amy. CHECK, CHECK, DOUBLE CHECK)I'll get to play with Natasha Norman, Paula Rhodes, Heather Schmidt, Pat Towne, Matt Merchant, Alyssa Preston, Peter Fluet, and JJ Mayes. And we are only 1/5th of the entertainment for this awesome show that is only $7!
